Mission statement

The "Society for SaaS Cloud Partners (abbreviated as S3CP) is the industry wide, non-profit and voluntary organization, which is formed to contribute to any kinds of companies, educations, governments and/or individuals by building SaaS business eco-systems on a cloud environment, and educating market participants and then totally encourage all SaaS/Cloud related business.

Introduction

The organization was established on Nov. 20, 2009 as Society for SaaS Partners by core voluntary founding members, after the several important preparations which included several technical evaluations, trials of products or studies of various business and utilization models.

In early 2011, the organization changed the name to "Society for SaaS Cloud Partners" (S3CP) to reflect latest industry trends.

Currently the definition of SaaS varies by companies and individuals who speak about SaaS, which makes confusion to market, industries and customers.
The S3CP will focus to provide real feasible and workable model(s) on cloud environment to participants of this field.
For this purpose, the S3CP will take necessary actions such as:

1. Networking various services available on the cloud
2. Working together with any kind of organizations such as providers, resellers, consultants, researchers or user organizations.
3. Demonstrating real workable model with real products and technologies provided by the members.

The S3CP welcomes any organizations and individuals, who wish to make business, to use SaaS/Cloud, to learn SaaS/Cloud or to do any researches on SaaS/Cloud, to join us as members anytime.

Collaborations

The S3CP stands at neutral position to and from any other organizations by having own concept.
However the S3CP welcomes every other organization very much to co-work with us, to have friendly relationship in order to create widely connected network of services and supports, and to provide contents so that SaaS users will be able to have wide range of choices from them for their needs.

Benefit for members

By joining the S3CP, members will be able to:

1. Get business collaborations with other members and organizations
2. Have joint marketing activities with user organizations and provider organizations.
3. Have joint promotion through reseller organizations
4. Get the latest technologies, knowledge's and/or services through working group activities

Membership

Regular corporate member annual membership fee......240,000 JPY
International member annual membership fee..........600 USD

Membership is annually revised.
